This is a genuine U. S. Civil War era Spencer Repeating Carbine. All parts completely correct with a good amount of the original finish present, though there is light rust pitting over almost all of the exterior. The stock is in good antique condition, though does show wear. A very interesting Spencer Model 1860 Civil War Carbine with Serial number of 46866 indicating mid to late 1864 manufacture.
