Original Early Zulu Assegai Fighting Spear with Massive Blade circa 1830 French Militaria Sloan's friendOriginal item: One Only. This Assegai fighting spear dates from the time of the great Zulu Chief SHAKA, and this was used in combat hand to hand fighting. The iron head measures 25" in length with a width of 2 inches, and is covered in ancient rust and corrosion. The 31" wood shaft, bowed with age, is covered in decoration of sheet copper "staples" laid out in design, which also make the spear easier to grip. Overall length of 56". Clearly this has
