Instituted in 1818. Multi piece construction, in silver gilt with blue and white enamels, measuring 61. 8 mm (w) x 87 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, without ribbon, obverse missing two of the nine small white enamelled stars, chipping and crazing evident in the white enamels on the rays on both sides, better than fine.
