This is a very nice example of a U. S. Pacific "Theater made" Airborne Jump Wings. As U. S. forces advanced further into the Pacific, it was easier to make items such as these locally than to have them shipped from the mainland. This example has two bronze stars installed, which would indicate two successful combat jumps. The wings have a lovely pin back, which is fully functional. The use of Paratroopers was not
